Special Visitor: Tuesday March 3
Brandon Berry, coauthor, Inviting Depth (2026)

We’ll start March practice with an invited talk by Brandon Berry, co-author of the new book on interviewing, Inviting Depth.

You might wonder, why have a research book talk? Several of us in this group are researchers, but there are two other great reasons: Brandon notes that the book was directly inspired by Zen practice. And I believe the book is useful far beyond the confines of research. He describes it as being for “Anyone whose work involves listening—really listening—to understand people more deeply” … and that is work for all of us!

I was fortunate to read a draft and give an editorial review. And now that it has been published, I’m excited to welcome Brandon to our group in 2 weeks:

  • When: Tuesday March 3 at the usual time, 9:00am Pacific (12:00 Eastern; 18:00 CET). We will have a shorter sitting period followed by discussion with Brandon

  • Where: on Zoom at the usual location, here

  • Bring your questions!

With hopes that you are inviting depth into your interactions every moment 🙏
